Yankee Doodle Days 07/25/2010
  It was pretty dismal at the Yankee Doodle Days on Friday night. I guess you could say, we called it a "wash", but Saturday was bight and sunny. We had a two showers but then the sun came out bright and wilted this poor sunflower. We were able to get in a few massages, even with the heat, the bands were great and so was the fireworks! The corn sold out fast yesterday at the Farmer's Market in Montague Center! We had rain at 2 of the first three outdoor events we attended so far this year and yesterday was "iffy", but we made it home dry!  The Great Falls Market in Turners Falls is next to the Discovery Center just over the Gill/Turners Falls bridge. It happens every Wednesday from 2-6 but there are a few on Sundays, such as yesterday. |
